Eviction & Landlord-Tenant Document Preparation

Document Preparation for Tenants

If you are a tenant responding to an eviction beginning the eviction process, properly prepared documents and attention to deadlines are important. Our services are designed for people who want professional assistance with their paperwork while continuing to represent themselves.

For Tenants Facing Eviction

Receiving an eviction notice or being served with an unlawful detainer lawsuit can be stressful, especially when the time to respond is short. We help tenants prepare and organize the documents needed to respond based on the information they provide. We focus on helping you understand the document-preparation process, identify key filing and service requirements, and prepare your paperwork accurately and promptly.

Eviction Deadlines Matter

Eviction and unlawful detainer matters are time-sensitive. Notices, court filings, responses, and service requirements may be subject to specific deadlines. Waiting too long can reduce the time you have to prepare and file the necessary documents. If you have received an eviction notice or court papers—or if you are a landlord preparing to begin the process—contact us as early as possible so you have enough time to prepare your documents.
